On Saturday, we met some friends at the Houston Zoo for a fun morning. We had not been to the zoo for over a year, so everything was new for the three of us. Carina loved running around all of the exhibits, riding on the carousel (for the first time), and even petting a goat!
I know that as Carina gets older, she will enjoy seeing all of the animals even more. Our friends are zoo members, and that is an option that we will likely consider in the future. We were able to use my AAA card for $2 off of each admission ticket, and Carina was free. There are a lot of other ways to get a discount for admission, and even free days the first Tuesday of every month from 2 p.m. until closing. The zoo website has more info.
Whether you are an avid fisherman, or just want to try something new, fishing ia a wonderful and productive pastime that has been enjoyed by many for generations. Katy has terrific local options to partake in this activity.
