Katy, Texas and Tomball, Texas will be home to new Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center Outpatient Clinics in 2013. They will be located at 750 West Green Boulevard, in Katy, and 1200 Main Street, in Tomball. Each will be approximately 28,000 square feet, and provide primary health care, women’s health care and mental health care. Additional services will include audiology, optometry, X-ray, pharmacy, teleretinal imaging, telemedicine, and laboratory. These Clinics are in addition to the new 10,000 square foot VA Clinic that opened in Richmond, Texas at 22001 Southwest Freeway on May 14, 2010.
In addition to honorining our courageous veterans on Memorial Day, stop by the Matt Family Orchard located at 21110 Bauer Hockley Road in Tomball between 9am and 4pm for blackberry picking! This family owned 33 acre pick-your-own fruit orchard supplies everything you need! The berry price is $3.50 per pound. If you cannot make it on Memorial Day, they have fruits to pick and activities available all year round:
