Gardening is one of my “me-time” hobbies. I enjoy watching my plants flourish, and since I grow mainly flowers (roses, actually) I don’t spend as much money on arrangements from the store. The family benefits as well: Our backyard contains a fabulous spray of color, Carina likes to go outside and play while I water the plants, and Jonathan likes the pesto that I make with the organic basil. Everyone wins with this pretty pastime!
