I love the library! Growing up, my siblings and I would spend the summer trying to out-read each other in the library kids competition. We had so much fun counting out who had the most stickers on the wall. Later, this fun way of looking at reading helped me get through my English classes and writing all of those book reports. I really owe this outlook to my mother who made an effort to get us into books, even when we didn’t like her selections! I am now trying to continue the tradtion with my own daughter. Even though she is only 7 months old, she enjoys the great activities that the Katy area libraries have to offer. Check them out for yourself and for your kid’s future!
