Located at 16233 Clay Road, Suite 344 in Houston, Flor de Cuba boasts that they serve “Authentic Cuban Food” and authentic it is! Check out their menu at their website or call ahead 281-463-8611 for reservations.
Flor de Cuba has a restaurant, a bakery, a bar and live entertainment. I have personally experienced them all, and they are wonderful! The restaurant serves traditional Cuban cuisine such as rice and black beans, plantains, ropa vieja, and vaca frita. The Houston Press awarded Flor de Cuba “Best Cuban Restaurant” in 2010. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Their extensive bakery also carries numerous Cuban delicacies, such as pastelitos de guayaba, tres leches, and marquesitos. Finally, Flor de Cuba has terrific live entertainment and an active dance floor on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
All of this will transcend you to Cuba for a complete cultural experience without ever leaving Texas!
