Comcast’s First Texas XFINITY Customer Service Center Opens in Katy Jan. 31
Comcast will open the first Texas XFINITY customer service center in Katy on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
The 3,200 square foot center, located at 517 South Mason Rd., is designed around the needs of customers and provides Comcast customers with an opportunity to explore, learn about and interact directly with the latest XFINITY products and services.
Kiosks around the center provide customers with the opportunity to experience XFINITY TV, test drive XFINITY Internet’s speeds, connect with XFINITY Voice service, and try out next generation XFINITY Home Security. Other features are 55” flat screen TVs, a comfortable seating area, and more time-saving offerings, including a self-service kiosk for quick bill pay and a queue system that allows customers to explore and be entertained instead of waiting in line for service.
“We’re proud to provide our customers with a place where they can experience our XFINITY products and services firsthand and check out the latest technology in an interactive environment,” said Doug Guthrie, senior vice president of Comcast’s Houston Region. “This new model has a morewelcoming design, and most important a new attitude as we apply the same mindset of innovation, speed and utility that our customers love about our products to our customer service.”
The XFINITY Customer Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 am – 6 pm and Saturday from 8 am – 5 pm and located at 517 South Mason Rd in Katy. This center replaces the former Comcast Service Center located at 595 South Mason Rd.
The new center in Katy is the first of four new XFINITY Customer Service Centers planned for 2012. Comcast currently has 13 service centers located throughout the Greater Houston area.
