Week 2 of Human Trafficking Awareness Month includes the Houston Rescue and Restore Coalition 4th Annual Shop Smart: A Fair Trade Shopping Market. Simply shopping fair trade will give you an opportunity to learn more about human trafficking and ways to combat it through conscientious purchases. The event will highlight the importance that shopping fair trade has on eliminating human trafficking.
This year’s event features a larger space with lots of great vendors and door prizes. Join HRRC to learn more about conscious consumerism, make a difference in the fight against slavery, and get a head start on your holiday shopping!
Where: First United Methodist Church, Stansbury Building, located at 10570 Westpark Dr; Houston, TX
