Main Event Entertainment, a facility that will feature bowling, billiards, Laser Tag, a Game Room with virtual games, dining, bars, and a new ropes course called GRAVITY, will be opening at the new Katy Ranch Crossing multi-use development located at I-10 and Katy Mills Mall Outlet in late 2012.
It will provide a premier “Eat, Bowl, Play” experience for the area. Charlie Keegan, CEO of Main Event Entertainment states, “We have been trying to get to Katy for some time. Katy is a perfect match for Main Event, and we are thrilled to be opening our next location in this vibrant, growing community.”
This will be Main Event’s eleventh location. It has already been voted “Best Party Place” and “Best Indoor Play” in Austin, and “Best Place to Bowl” in Dallas.

Walk on Saturday, October 22, to raise funds and awareness for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Participants will walk a one-mile loop and enjoy free food and entertainment before and after the event. It is free to register, and online registration is currently open. The average walker raises $225 to support research initiatives, programs and services of the Society. This event has been celebrated since 1978. Founded by the Tri-County Optimists to honor local rice farmers and called “Sellabration,” in October 1981, it was transformed into the Katy Rice Harvest Festival. There will be food, arts and crafts, entertainment, as well as the Miss Rice Harvest Festival pageant, a parade, a photography contest, and a rice cooking contest. Come and enjoy the fun!

Through the years, the Fort Bend County Fair has grown into one of the largest and most successful fairs in the State.
