The 2012 Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center Annual Masquerade will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012, from 6:30-10:00. Enjoy great food, fun casino games, and a performance by the Crimson Vagabond Roadshow.
Attendees are requested to wear business to cocktail attire, and masks are optional.
Masks can be purchased at the event or at KVPAC on Saturday, October 13 (prices range from $3-$30).

Grandparents play an important part in the lives of their grandchildren. They serve as role models and provide a sense of stability and structure to the family. This is also a good time to visit elderly residents of nursing homes. Many of them are lonely and forgotten.
Volunteers will meet at Grace Care Center of Katy, 23553 West Fernhurst Drive, Katy, Texas 77494, on September 8, 2012 to give out cards and visit with the residents. Contact Walter Black at 713-964-0229 for more information.
Come and participate in a fun and free cultural experience by celebrating Israel’s 64th Independence Day with the Houston Jewish community by attending a celebration from 5pm-7pm, TODAY, April 26 at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center located at 5601 S. Braeswood.

Take a trip to Chappell Hill, Texas on Saturday, April 14 from 10AM-6PM or on Sunday, April 15 from 12PM-5PM to see some of the most beautiful Bluebonnet Blossoms and other wildflowers in Texas!
Chappell Hill is located at U.S. Highway 290 and FM 1155. Admission is free and parking is $5.00. Vendors sell a variety of crafts and food. There is plenty of live entertainment, children’s activities, and tours of the community. For more information, see www.chappellhillmuseum.org.
